FORMAT

Open

We will use last years format, which is also the one described by EUF for 12 Open Teams on 2,5 days.

2 pools of 6, then 1,2 of pools play semis and finals for 1-4 places, 2,3 of pools play semis and finals for 5-8 places, 5,6 of pools play semis and finals for 9-12 places. At the very and, 5th plays vs 4th a backdoor game for the EUCF spot.
Hence, seeding and initial performance in pools have high importance. (Resulting in serious Sectionals and hard-fought games for the entire EUCR.)

We will have two pools, by the seedings:
A: 1,3,6,8,9,12
B: 2,4,5,7,10,11

Seedings have been done by last years EUCR results.
The teams Austria3, Austria4 and East1, as there is no previous result in 2013, will be seeded either 10th, 11th or 12th. it will be decided by a draw. Austria3 will be seeded higher as Austria4.

Women

2 Pools playing Round Robin. Top2 advance to brackets 1-4; Bottom2 play brackets 5-8. Tournament Winner directly qualifies to the EUCF. The loser of the final plays a backdoor game for the last bid for the EUCF against the winner of the 3rd place game.

The teams Austria2, Central4, Central5 and Austria3, as there is no previous result in 2013, has been seeded 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th, the order has been decided by a draw, where the national seed has been considered.
